Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- The candidates should be able to cut carcasses, sides, and quarters
- The candidates should be able to cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- The candidates should be able to wrap and package prepared meats, remove bones from meat
- The candidates should be able to weigh meats for sale, cut poultry into parts, price meat products
- The candidates should be able to sell meats to customers, cut fish into steaks and fillets
- The candidates should be able to prepare special orders, slice cooked meats
