Shifts: Evening, Night, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work efficiently under pressure
- The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods as part of their responsibilities
- The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of the job
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads with proper technique
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, and reliable
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats
- The candidates should be able to remove bones from meat, weigh meats for sale, cut poultry into parts, and sell meats to customers
- The candidates should be able to grind meats, slice cooked meats, prepare special orders, and create special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
