AMY’S CONFECTIONERY is a shop that specializes in crafting delicious handmade confections. We offer a wide range of goodies, including gourmet chocolates, candies, fudges, caramels, and other confectionery delights. We take pride in our commitment to providing customers with a delightful and memorable experience, from the moment they step through the door to the last bite of their delectable treats. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, organized, flexible, efficient, goal-oriented
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate cash register
- The candidates should be able to operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
- The candidates should be able to provide advice about merchandise, assist in display of merchandise
- The candidates should be able to conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- The candidates should be able to greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
- The candidates should be able to maintain sales records for inventory control, prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts and accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.)
