Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent is required
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be capable of quickly and properly lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, leveraging, and manipulating packages weighing up to 70 lbs
- The candidates should be able to assist in moving packages weighing up to 150 pounds
- The candidates should perform tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, and reach associated with the use of data scanning devices, measuring tape, and other equipment
- The candidates should be willing to work at elevated heights, in enclosed spaces, and on uneven walk surfaces
- The candidates should be willing to work in an environment with variable temperatures and humidity, exposure to dust, dirt, fumes, and noise
- The candidates should be able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment
- The candidates should have the ability to work additional hours and/or overtime depending on service needs
- The candidates should be able to bend, stoop, crouch, squat, climb, stand, walk, turn, and pivot intermittently during the workday, for 3-5 hours per day, 5 days per week
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess effective verbal/written communication, problem-solving, research, and time-management skills
- The candidates should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is preferred
- The candidates should exhibit accurate and rapid data entry skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform package audits using DWS machines, GSS Scanners, or with a scale as part of the part-time union package handling position of Revenue Auditor/Package Handler
- The candidates should understand general revenue auditing procedures and be able to communicate effectively, solve intermediate-level problems, assist with basic research, and effectively manage time
- The candidates should be willing to perform other tasks as required in this position
- The candidates should be able to perform package audits using DWS Machines and the Global Scanning System (GSS), including additional handling audits
- The candidates should be capable of weighing packages at DIM weight scanners for accurate weight readings
- The candidates should ensure that scanners are functioning properly and packages are in the correct position to have labels read by the scanner
- The candidates should maintain Production Standards and meet daily performance goals
- The candidates should ensure UPS Safety Habits are maintained and followed at all times
- The candidates should be able to coordinate and prepare information for internal use and distribution
