Salary: $20.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Credentials: Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess manual dexterity and be physically capable of demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client needs and uphold values and ethics
  • The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit interpersonal awareness
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and be accurate in their work

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain, and lower-grade mobilizations
  • The candidates should be able to apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body and massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
  • The candidates should be able to assess clients by conducting a range of motion and muscle tests, propose treatment plans, and explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records of treatments given, suggest home care instructions, and provide information about techniques
