Salary: $43.09 per hour for 35 hours per week

Location: Nanaimo, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift and Morning
Work Setting: Willing to relocate and nursing home or home for the aged
Security and safety: Criminal record should checked, immunization records and Tuberculosis test required
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate and Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to supervise 11-15 people
- The candidate should have specialization on Geriatrics
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and also Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- The candidate should be able to Provide nursing care, Collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care and also Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- The candidate should be able to Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
