Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Offshore engineering, Robotics or controls, Construction
Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Windows, project management software, database software, modeling and simulation, MS Office, MS Excel
Area of work experience: Installation, maintenance, and inspection of equipment or facilities, operations or production, occupational health and safety, project management, project coordination, reliability engineering
Type of industry experience: Pipelines, Energy, Marine
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines, while being physically capable of handling demanding tasks and demonstrating attention to detail
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors and discriminate sounds, and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to manage a large workload efficiently

- The candidates should be accurate in their work and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and punctual, with the ability to multitask effectively
- The candidates should be team players, hardworking, and honest
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechanisms, components, and systems
- The candidates should be able to design power plants, machines, and equipment according to project requirements and analyze the dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and structures to ensure their stability and performance
- The candidates should be able to supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards, and develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of mechanical systems
- The candidates should be able to investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions, and plan and manage projects, including preparing material, cost, and timing estimates, as well as reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
- The candidates should be able to prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance projects and supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers, reviewing and approving designs, calculations, and cost estimates
- The candidates should be able to assess business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them effectively, develop risk management plans to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success, and lead and instruct groups of technicians, technologists, and other engineers to achieve project objectives
- The candidates should be able to commission mechanical systems and equipment to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements
