Position: Rope access technician (RAT)

Salary: $22.00 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 48 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Port Moody, BC
Shifts: Flexible Hours
Type of cranes: Hydraulic or telescoping boom
Work setting: High-rise building construction sites
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Spanish
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Construction, High-rises (8 stories or more)
Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools, Hand tools
Credentials: Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) Certification
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared to work outdoors and be comfortable working at heights
- The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should be physically capable of meeting demanding job requirements
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus while being team players
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean building exteriors, tanks, chimneys, and industrial equipment thoroughly and efficiently
