Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Student status: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, Full time enrollment
Computer and technology knowledge: Price scanner, Electronic cash register, Interact machine, Computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system
Security and safety: Bondable, Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be efficient, energetic, hardworking, reliable, and should have positive attitude
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate cash register, process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments, scan items
- The candidates should be able to tabulate total payment for goods or services required, receive payment for goods or services
- The candidates should be able to stock shelves and clean counter area, greet customers, wrap or place merchandise in bags
- The candidates should be able to weigh produce and bulk foods, provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment, when necessary, participate in promotional activities, verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products, monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary
