Shifts: Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Rural area and retail business
Supervision: 5-10 people, and retail salespersons and sales clerks
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing tasks and responsibilities, and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, demonstrating attention to detail in their work
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, as required by the nature of the work, showcasing physical endurance alongside adaptability
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate in their work, maintaining a high standard of precision, and prioritize client focus to ensure positive interactions and client satisfaction
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing work demands
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities efficiently, exhibiting reliability by consistently meeting commitments
- The candidates should be dedicated team players, fostering collaboration and cooperation, showcasing a combination of technical proficiency and interpersonal skills
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assign sales workers to duties, order merchandise, and establish work schedules
- The candidates should be able to authorize payments by cheque, authorize the return of merchandise, and sell merchandise
- The candidates should be able to prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, organize and maintain inventory, and resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
- The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate the activities of workers, showcasing a comprehensive skill set in retail management
