Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be 16 years of age or older
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assist customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise, and helping them make informed purchase decisions
- The candidates should be able to resolve customer issues effectively and refer concerns to management
- The candidates should be able to maintain salesfloor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or expired goods, and setting up and maintaining product displays, signage, and pricing
- The candidates should be able to handle claims and returns properly, secure merchandise, identify high-shrink items, and ensure a safe work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to receive and stock merchandise, use equipment safely and appropriately, and complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
- The candidates should be able to refer specific service or transactional items to a Customer Service Manager
- The candidates should be able to perform seasonal duties such as zoning, watering, and culling plants in the Garden Centre (March–July), managing toys during the Christmas season, and handling bikes in the summer, including limited cash handling and carry-in/out tasks, depending on the department
