Gladious Security Ltd. based in Surrey, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Security Guard. Years ago, Gladious Security Ltd. was founded to meet the rising security needs of commercial and residential clients in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Many other reputable security companies often call Gladious Security when they are understaffed as they trust the company to offer reliable service they feel confident putting their name behind. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to full time or permanent employment. The candidates have to work in various shifts.

Recreational or cultural centre, Public event, Museum, Construction site, Apartment/condominium complex, Hotel, motel, resort, Shopping centre or mall, Retail/wholesale and establishment/distribution centre
Worksite Environment:
Outdoors, Noisy, Dusty, Cold/refrigerated, Air-conditioned
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel, Travel expenses paid by the employer
Work Location Information:
Work in employer’s/client’s home, Remote location, Various locations, Willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided.
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidate should be physically demanding
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to details
- The candidate should be a combination of sitting, standing, walking and standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to produce reports
- The candidate should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs

Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to patrol assigned areas
- The candidate should be able to operate security control room equipment
- The candidate should be able to check the age identification of patrons
- The candidate should be able to enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and monitor establishment activities
- The candidate should be able to prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments
- The candidate should be able to investigate unlawful acts of employees or patrons of establishments and recommend security systems
