Requirements:

Experience: Candidates should have 3–10 years of extensive software development experience
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to promptly answer support-related emails, phone calls, and other electronic communications
- The candidates should have excellent written and spoken English communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be able to work independently and efficiently to meet dynamic customer demands
- The candidates should be self-motivated and detail-oriented and possess strong leadership skill
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a diploma from a university, college, or technical school, demonstrate proficiency in Linux fundamentals and management (Debian, RHEL – Rocky, CentOS)
- The candidates should have infrastructure management experience with platforms such as KVM/QEMU, VMWare, or Citrix XenServer
- The candidates should be knowledgeable in storage solutions including NFS, Ceph, ext4, and zfs, code and script in multiple languages such as Python, Perl, and Bash
- The candidates should have experience with observability tools for monitoring and logging, such as Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Nagios/Icinga2, and Syslog-ng/rsyslog
- The candidates should be capable of reviewing and addressing reported CVEs and maintaining security updates and patches
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide ongoing support and maintenance for ISP clients’ service delivery platforms, including software updates, new service development, and general support
- The candidates should be able to respond to customer support requirements during regular business hours (9am – 5pm Eastern, Monday – Friday)
- The candidates should be able to conduct quality assurance testing on the Clearcable server platform, identify security bugs, document findings, and take corrective action
- The candidates should be able to create scripts and generate reports related to ISP client platforms to assist with implementation efforts, system updates, diagnostics, and analytics
- The candidates should be able to act as the lead systems administrator on specific projects assigned by management, develop and manage the hypervisor platform to host Clearcable SOE virtual machines, working collaboratively with the team to document and plan infrastructure
- The candidates should be able to develop and implement automation processes and software to enhance system deployment and support capabilities, collaborate with senior executives, sales staff, and Lead Team members on product development initiatives
- The candidates should be able to stay current with new technologies, industry trends, infrastructure best practices, tools, and techniques, and make business-value recommendations
- The candidates should be able to support consulting and support initiatives outside of regular business hours as needed, including queue support, project implementation, or emergency escalations
- The candidates should be able to participate in routine stand-up meetings with the systems administration team, track and record all time usage in the company’s Timekeep software and submit requests for new project codes
