Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 20 to 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Sackville, NB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning
Work setting: Restaurant and bistro
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need any degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods as required by the job
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, fostering positive and effective communication, and excel in excellent oral communication, conveying ideas clearly and persuasively
- The candidates should be organized, managing tasks and responsibilities in a systematic and efficient manner, and be reliable, consistently delivering high-quality work within established timelines
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, present bills to customers, and accept payment in various forms including cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ checks, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, advise on menu selections, and greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, serve food and beverages, and take orders, relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
