Salary: $16.55 to $18.28 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 36 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Bancroft, ON
Shifts: Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Rural area and Hotel, motel, resort
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Uniform
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and capable of working under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a client-focused approach, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and demonstrate excellent oral communication
- The candidates should showcase flexibility, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a positive attitude, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and team players, ensuring effective and trustworthy contributions to the team
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service, addressing customers’ complaints or concerns and advising on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers, ensuring a well-informed dining experience
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, contributing to a tidy and organized dining area
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages and assist clients/guests with special needs, showcasing attentive and accommodating service
