Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers cheques, or room billings and describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers
- The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections, balance cash, and record sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages and take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
