Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable standing for extended periods during work, and be capable of working effectively under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client satisfaction and needs, possess excellent oral communication skills, and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various tasks and situations
- The candidates should maintain organization in their work methods and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, and present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ checks, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, advise on menu selections, balance cash and record sales, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages, serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs and provide customer service
