Salary: $18.50 hourly for 35 hours per week

Location: Victoria, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Bondable and Criminal record check
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of working effectively under pressure
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to take orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and present bills to customers, accepting payment in cash, credit, or debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and assist clients/guests with special needs while providing customer service
