Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve shared objectives
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, describe menu items including daily specials, advise on menu selections, describe and advise on wine selection, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to take orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, serve food and beverages, present bills to customers, and accept payment in various forms
- The candidates should be able to order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, perform sensory evaluation of wines, and ensure smooth operation of the dining experience
