The Alley YMM is a trendy and vibrant bubble tea cafe offering a unique selection of handcrafted beverages and snacks. With a focus on quality ingredients and innovative flavors, The Alley YMM delights customers with its extensive menu featuring a variety of specialty milk teas, fruit teas, and slushies. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Supervision: No supervision responsibility
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure they are of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and describe and advise on wine selection
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, advise customers on menu selections, and provide excellent customer service
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, balance cash and record sales accurately, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in various forms such as cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ checks, or room billings, describe menu items including daily specials to customers, and order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
- The candidates should be able to perform sensory evaluation of wines, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages, serve food and beverages, and supervise other servers and bussing staff
- The candidates should be able to take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, schedule staff effectively, train staff, and assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons
