Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required by the job
- The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be flexible, adaptable to changing work requirements, and demonstrate reliability and consistency in their work
- The candidates should show initiative in taking on tasks, finding solutions proactively, and collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals
- The candidates should be organized, able to manage their workload efficiently, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve specialty food at customers’ tables, describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on menu selections
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers, accept payment in various forms, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders, relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and assist clients/guests with special needs
