Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates need experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Smart Serve
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work under pressure, in fast-paced environment and also handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be reliable and also a team player
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral communication
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and also enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- The candidate should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, describe and advise on wine selection, assist clients/guests with special needs and also greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidate should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings and also balance cash and record sales
- The candidate should be able to clear and clean tables, trays and chairs, serve food and beverages and also take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
