Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to determine the method of shipment based on factors such as the nature of the goods, destination, and urgency, and schedule the distribution of goods efficiently, considering delivery deadlines and available resources
- The candidates should be able to prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures, and inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to confirm accuracy and quality
- The candidates should be able to maintain an internal record-keeping system to track inventory levels, shipments, and other relevant information, record shortages, and reject damaged goods promptly, following established procedures to address discrepancies
- The candidates should be able to route goods to appropriate storage areas based on factors such as size, weight, and storage requirements, and affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments clearly and accurately to facilitate proper handling and delivery
- The candidates should be able to oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to protocols effectively
