Salary: $15.30 to $27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 80 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Cartwright, MB
Shifts: Day, Overtime
Transportation information: Valid driver’s license; public transportation is not available
Work setting: Rural area, industrial facility or establishment, and manufacture
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks, hoists or winches, industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, loader, and powered crane
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication and exercise sound judgment while being reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents and maintain an internal record-keeping system
- The candidates should be able to record shortages and reject damaged goods, pack goods to be shipped, and unpack goods received
- The candidates should be able to oversee loading and unloading of goods
