Salary: $19.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: North Battleford, SK
Work setting: Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should strive for accuracy in their work and exhibit dependability in fulfilling their duties
- The candidates should show initiative in taking proactive steps to accomplish tasks and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities and demonstrate reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to schedule distribution of goods and prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents
- The candidates should be able to assemble containers and crates, inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, and maintain an internal record-keeping system
- The candidates should be able to record shortages and reject damaged goods, route goods to appropriate storage areas, and pack goods to be shipped
- The candidates should be able to unpack goods received, affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments, and oversee the loading and unloading of goods
- The candidates should be able to supervise material handlers and helpers
