Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 44 hours per week

Location: Woodbridge, ON
Shifts: 07:30 to 16:00
Transportation information: Own transportation, and valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Manufacture
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks, hoists or winches, industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, loader, pallet lifters, and powered crane
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check, driver’s validity licence check, driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should be capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently and be physically fit for demanding tasks
- The candidates should be skilled in handling heavy loads and able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

- The candidates should exhibit dependability and possess efficient interpersonal skills

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to determine the method of shipment based on factors such as destination, urgency, and cost-effectiveness
- The candidates should be able to assemble containers and crates securely, ensuring goods are protected during transit, and pack goods to be shipped securely, using appropriate packaging materials and methods to prevent damage
- The candidates should be able to inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, confirming accuracy and quality, and unpack goods received carefully, checking for any damage or discrepancies and recording relevant information
- The candidates should be able to maintain an internal record-keeping system, documenting inventory transactions and stock levels, and record shortages and reject damaged goods promptly, initiating necessary actions to address discrepancies
- The candidates should be able to route goods to appropriate storage areas efficiently, optimizing space and organization, and affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments clearly, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
