Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 5-10 people, 16-20 people, Working groups, `constructors, Staff in various areas of responsibility
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office
Own tools/equipment: Hard hat, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety equipment/gear, Safety glasses/goggles, Tools
Credentials: Construction Trade Certification, Carpenter Trade Certification
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check
Architectural specialization: Commercial
Area of specialization: Residential, Industrial, Construction,
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work at heights, outdoors, noisy and dusty area
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines and with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle large caseloads and weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle large workload and heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, organized, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have values and ethics, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
- The candidates should be able to plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress, establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
- The candidates should be able to read blueprint, schemas and drawings, develop and implement quality control programs
- The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations, prepare reports
- The candidates should be able to requisition materials and supplies
