Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time leading to full time
Location: Vancouver, BC
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation
Work setting: Various locations

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles, Safety vest, Hard hat
Credentials: Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification
Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, loader
Equipment and machinery experience: Front end loader
Area of work experience: Snow removal, Demolition, Excavation
Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be physically demanding
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be willing to for overtime
  • The candidates should be able to work in outdoors

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate heavy equipment
  • The candidates should be able to conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
