Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science
Experience: Candidates should have 3 or more years of non-internship professional software development experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have at least 2 years of non-internship experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- The candidate should have experience programming with at least one software programming language
- The candidate should have 3 or more years of experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to define, design, and implement multi-tier distributed services that securely process customer payment data, enable mobile payment innovations, and deliver an exceptional user experience across Amazon websites and mobile platforms
- The candidate should be able to participate in the end-to-end development lifecycle by designing, implementing, and testing major features for Amazon’s next-generation payments platform
- The candidate should be able to estimate engineering efforts, plan and execute system changes, and ensure solutions meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and alignment with development best practices
- The candidate should be able to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment that includes software development, quality assurance, project and release management, and build/release engineering teams
