Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a proven track record of working collaboratively in a team-setting, particularly in a multi-cultural and international environment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be currently enrolled higher, preferably in the 3rd year, studying Computer Science or a related field
  • The candidates should have programming experience with strong core proficiency in Java, Springboot, and Python
  • The candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of UI technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and Angular
  • The candidates should have practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker and proficient in English, both written and spoken
  • The candidates should possess knowledge of DevOps technologies like Jenkins, Spinnaker, Gitlab, and ELK
  • The candidates should have knowledge of service mesh and cloud security, which is considered an added advantage
  • The candidates should have experience in product development, including familiarity with methodologies and processes. Knowledge of Agile methodologies will be desirable
  • The candidates should have awareness of relevant open-source community norms and behaviors. Experience in open source or inner source communities is an advantage
  • The candidates should demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, emphasizing high emotional intelligence when representing Ericsson as a developer

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to implement cloud-native and digital infrastructure software features, ensuring they meet performance and scalability requirements
  • The candidates should be able to refine requirements, define product architectures, integrate solutions, and conduct thorough testing to ensure robustness and reliability
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate self-motivation and focus when addressing stakeholder and customer needs, delivering solutions that align with business objectives
  • The candidates should be able to engage effectively with open-source technologies, projects, and foundations, leveraging them to enhance product capabilities
  • The candidates should be able to establish a strong and respected presence within the project or scrum team, contributing proactively to team dynamics and project success
