Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Experience: Candidates should have 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have 2+ years of experience with system design and 2+ years of experience working on large-scale services
  • The candidates should have 2+ years of experience in building and shipping production-scale services
  • The candidates should have the ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements for this role, including passing the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter
  • The candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience in designing and implementing large-scale products with multiple product release cycles, and coding in object-oriented languages, including but not limited to C# or Java OR equivalent experience
  • The candidates should demonstrate technical understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns and experience working with .Net, C# or Azure and Windows environment
  • The candidates should have preferred experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex full stack web applications with a particular emphasis on the UI (interactions and  styling
  • The candidates should have experience in developing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient services on the Microsoft Azure platform or equivalent cloud platform and possess problem-solving expertise, with the ability to analyze and diagnose service health issues on a global scale
  • The candidates should have a deep passion for customer-centric approaches, design thinking, data analysis, and emerging technologies
  • The candidates should have experience working with application security, common security protocols, encryption, server technologies, modern authentication, and cloud app authorization architectures and experience in DevOps culture, particularly for supporting live sites
  • The candidates should be initiative-taking engineers capable of quick learning on an evolving set of technologies and collaborating with geographically distributed partner teams and peers

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to contribute to the design, building, adaptation, execution, and maintenance of Chat, Calling, and Meeting Protection full-stack solutions in Microsoft Teams
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the design, implementation, testing, and rollout of multiple APIs for new Security Monitoring, Auditing, and Information Protection scenarios
  • The candidates should be able to effectively collaborate within the Teams organization and with other product groups across Microsoft in the design and implementation of software solutions
  • The candidates should be able to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable cloud-based services and APIs that provide tooling and onboarding solutions for internal customers and partners
  • The candidates should be able to build and maintain data pipelines and platforms that ingest, process, store, and serve large volumes of structured and unstructured data for analysis and reporting purposes
  • The candidates should be able to act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), monitoring system, product feature or service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, and taking appropriate action within SLA timeframes
