Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 10+ years of engineering experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have 5+ years of experience in engineering team management
- The candidates should possess 10+ years of experience in planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software
- The candidates should demonstrate experience in partnering with product or program management teams
- The candidates should have experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment
- The candidates should have experience in designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to establish and execute short and long-term roadmaps for the business
- The candidates should be able to lead and grow a set of teams to deliver customer impacting features
- The candidates should be able to build scalable, efficient, and automated knowledge discovery systems
- The candidates should be able to analyze and process large amounts of data to extract valuable information from various sources (product catalog, and search query)
- The candidates should be able to work creatively through and around perceived limitations and/or challenges imposed by the delivery platform to enable delightful experiences for customers
- The candidates should be able to effectively present work to all levels of the leadership
- The candidates should be able to be an effective collaborator in a cross-functional team of Managers, Engineers, Applied Scientists, Technical Program Managers, and Product Managers
- The candidates should be able to drive continual improvements to the efficiency and flexibility of the business platform while keeping an extremely high bar for customer trust, performance, and availability
