Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a Ph.D. engineering, chemistry, physics, computer science, or related discipline
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 5 years of experience (inclusive of PhD and/or post-graduate work) in accelerated research and development

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should support consulting services related to the application of SDLs for materials discovery for the AC’s partners
  • The candidates should support research-focused events such as the Annual Symposium
  • The candidates should have experience working with industry partners and on industry-led research and development projects
  • The candidates should possess expert knowledge of AI and automation and have experience with the development of self-driving laboratories
  • The candidates should have experience presenting research at academic conferences is a requirement for the candidates
  • The candidates should be strong and effective communicators in oral and written English
  • The candidates should be collegiality in working with team members and collaborators is expected from the candidates
  • The candidates should have the ability to work independently
  • The candidates should have a strong publication record is a must for the candidates
  • The candidates should demonstrate success in writing and preparing manuscripts, presentations, reports, briefs, and scientific abstracts for peer-reviewed journals

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to implement research and development projects of AC’s industry partners when implemented in AC labs
  • The candidates should be able to develop plans that support research collaborations, planning, and estimating financial resources required for programs and/or projects
  • The candidates should be able to work with Product Managers to ensure research outcomes meet partner requirements
  • The candidates should be able to promote AC’s research capacity, including delivering presentations at conferences
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate in the preparation and submission of research proposals to granting agencies and progress reporting
  • The candidates should be able to prepare manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed publications/journals and steward them through the process
