Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment
- The candidate should be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time any offer of employment is made
- The candidate should be responsible for seeking any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations needed for employment
- The candidate should demonstrate willingness to work on 12-hour shifts, including day/night rotations, be highly motivated, with demonstrated teamwork abilities
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should possess the following licenses: Stationary Plant Operator Class 2, A or B
- The candidate should be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations, as detailed by Transport Canada
Responsibilities:
- he candidates should be able to handle the monitoring, operating, and servicing of the Powerhouse boiler room equipment and related systems
- The candidates should be able to perform running repairs and minor maintenance of Powerhouse equipment
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain equipment such as centrifugal chillers (370/650/950 tons), HTHW boilers (90,000,000 BTU x 2, 45,000,000 BTU x 2), steam generators (x4), air compressors (2,100 CFM), HVAC systems, and associated systems
- The candidates should be able to work with equipment and control systems such as Appoge EMS control, Trane, Viking, Siemens, perform other related duties
