Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Retail store
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook
Security and safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, even in high-pressure situations, and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to walk as part of their duties, sit for extended periods, and be comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be capable of tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should perform tasks accurately and with precision and demonstrate a strong focus on meeting client needs
- The candidates should display flexibility in adapting to various situations and be organized in managing tasks and priorities
- The candidates should be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and be effective team players, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals
- The candidates should show initiative in problem-solving and task completion, demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making, and possess the ability to multitask effectively
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff (apprentices, stage hands, design team, etc.) and assign sales workers to duties
- The candidates should be able to hire and train or arrange for training of staff, authorize payments by cheque, and order merchandise
- The candidates should be able to authorize the return of merchandise, establish work schedules, and sell merchandise
- The candidates should be able to prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, and organize and maintain inventory
- The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate activities of workers, conduct performance reviews, and supervise office and volunteer staff
