Transportation information: Own transportation and Valid driver’s licence
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to operate blade or wire saws to cut blocks of stone to specified dimensions and move products using a forklift, crane, or hydraulic hoist
- The candidates should be able to record manufacturing information such as quantity, size, and type of goods produced and check products for quality control
- The candidates should be able to operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shape or design, operate sandblasting equipment to cut inscriptions or decorative designs in monumental stone, and perform ongoing machine adjustments
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints, schemas, and drawings and operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate accuracy in their work and be recognized as effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
