Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs), 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to work at heights in outdoors, hot area, and cold/refrigerated area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, dependable, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supervise other workers, apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
- The candidates should be able to fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
- The candidates should be able to finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
- The candidates should be able to mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim, clean and prepare surfaces
- The candidates should be able to mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- The candidates should be able to install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied, work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
- The candidates should be able to erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms, transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials
