Salary: $25.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent employment
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Work site environment: Candidates should work in outdoors
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to clean and prepare surfaces and also cure freshly plastered surfaces
- The candidate should be able to finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required, mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency, smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound and also trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
- The candidate should be able to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages and also erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
- The candidate should be able to apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints and also apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
