Shifts: Day, 08:00 to 16:00
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and Public transportation is not available
Work setting: Staff accommodation available, Rural are and Various locations
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in organic farming and have experience in other miscellaneous crop farming
- The candidates should be comfortable working in cold/refrigerated environments and be physically fit for demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods, and walk for extended periods
- The candidates should demonstrate manual dexterity and be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exercise good judgment and be a team player
- The candidates should adhere to values and ethics and be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops and examine produce for quality
- The candidates should be able to prepare produce for the market and clean the work area
