Salary: $36,000 annually for 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: Day, On Call, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Cleaning and production
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, carpet cleaning machine, polishing machines, steam cleaners, power tools, and small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments)
Own tools/equipment: Tools, uniform, equipment, and steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Building operator/superintendent certificate, building service worker course, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure and be comfortable with repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, prepared for physically demanding tasks, and proficient in weight handling
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to lift and handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit dependability, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate flexibility
- The candidates should show initiative, exercise good judgment, and be organized.
- The candidates should exhibit reliability
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse, and empty trash cans and other waste containers
- The candidates should be able to make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, contact tradespersons for major repairs, and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
- The candidates should be able to perform minor repairs on appliances, perform safety and security checks, and supervise other workers
- The candidates should be able to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
- The candidates should be able to work with minimal supervision, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, and supervise support staff
