Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed secondary school
Experience: Candidates should have previous shop or yard experience
Physical Requirements:
The candidates should have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines, work independently as well as part of a team and be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be motivated and able to work in a challenging environment with minimal supervision
- The candidates should possess effective oral and written communication skills, experience working in a cross-cultural environment
- The candidates should possess a Surface Common Core certification, hold a valid G Class Driver’s License
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to wash mobile equipment (both heavy and light) and components
- The candidates should be able to maintain the surface wash bay cleanliness to promote a safe and efficient work area
- The candidates should be able to perform routine and daily inspections of applicable equipment and work areas
- The candidates should be able to complete work orders as assigned and track the completion of tasks
- The candidates should be able to assist mechanical clerks with administrative duties, replenish shop inventory, including parts and oil
- The candidates should be able to empty all waste and recycling bins from shops and place them in the proper disposal area on surface
- The candidates should be able to assist the mechanic as required and perform other duties, create work orders with minor supervision
