Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and driver’s abstract
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Credentials: Class 4/4F/F/4A-B-C Licence (ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers), and Municipal taxi driver permit
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit attention to detail in their work and possess hand-eye coordination skills
- The candidates should be comfortable sitting for extended periods as required by the job
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus in their interactions and exercise good judgment in various situations
- The candidates should maintain organization in their work approach and be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities and commitments
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean and make minor repairs to vehicles
- The candidates should be able to pick up passengers, drive them to destinations, and assist passengers with luggage and in boarding vehicles
- The candidates should be able to take vehicles for servicing and collect fare, record transactions, and provide pick-up and delivery services on request
- The candidates should be able to attend to complaints or difficult passengers and drive business or government personnel to and from destinations
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs while providing transportation services
