Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone
Credentials: Taxicab driver certification, Driver’s License
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should have 20/20 vision, and sound discrimination
- The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, organized, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean and make minor repairs to vehicle
- The candidates should be able to pick up passengers and drive them to destinations
- The candidates should be able to assist passengers with luggage and in boarding vehicles, collect fare
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, record transactions
- The candidates should be able to provide pick up and delivery services on request
- The candidates should be able to attend to complaints or difficult passengers
- The candidates should be able to perform personal and business errands for employers
