Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly for 4 to 20 hours per week
Employment Type: Part time, Remote work
Location: 18A Superior Crescent, Charlottetown, PE, C1A 2E1
Shifts: Evening, Weekend and Flexible Hours
Work setting: Tutoring service and urban area
Security and safety: Basic security clearance required, Child Abuse Registry should checked and criminal record should checked
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have accuracy, interpersonal awareness, have an excellent oral communication and also excellent written communication
- The candidate should be a team player and be someone who can be dependable
- The candidate should be able to work with being focused on the client, work in a flexible environment and also work in an organized way
- The candidate should be able to take initiative
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to provide tutoring assistance
- The candidate should be able to identify childrens’ individual learning needs
- The candidate should be able to teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips
