Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
Experience: Candidates should have 2 years of experience reading code in a general purpose coding language, Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, JavaScript) or in system design
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have 2 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customer needs, and triaging technical issues software, application, operational, process
- The candidate should have certification in Google Cloud or a similar cloud technology, experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices
- The candidate should have experience using techniques such as packet-capture/packet-analysis, load testing, and traffic-path analysis to troubleshoot network latency, packet loss, and performance issues
- The candidate should have experience with any of the following cloud solutions, Open source software communities, Cloud networking solutions, Distributed computing technology and Hybrid/Multi-Cloud connectivity
- The candidate should have knowledge of fundamental web technologies HTTP/HTTPS), knowledge of virtual and container networking
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to manage customer problems through diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products
- The candidates should be able to develop a deep understanding of Google’s product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause of customer-reported issues, and by building tools for faster diagnosis
- The candidates should be able to act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders, including developing, sales, and customer organizations, to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud
- The candidates should be able to work effectively as part of a global team of developers/consultants ensuring 24-hour customer support, including the flexibility to work non-standard hours or shifts
- The candidates should be able to understand customer issues and advocate for their needs with cross-functional teams, including product and development teams, to identify ways to improve the product and drive quality improvements
