Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Montréal-Nord, QC
Shifts: Day, 07:30 to 16:15
Work setting: Aviation/aerospace manufacturing
Measuring tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Gauges, Verniers
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Cylindrical grinders, Form cutting machines:
Credentials: Machinist Trade Certification
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables accurately, set up and adjust production machinery and tools efficiently
- The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments meticulously, and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
