Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, or traditional Chinese medicine and Chinese herbology
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Area of specialization: Acupuncture, Chinese medicine, Herbal medicine, Reflexology, Shiatsu
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to diagnose the diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients and treat them
- The candidates should be able to advise patients on the use of herbs for the treatment of conditions
- The candidates should be able to diagnose illnesses and treat them by administering, in chemical or herbal form, a small dosage of the illness itself
- The candidates should be able to manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands and feet
- The candidates should be able to provide other alternative forms of health care to patients
- The candidates should be able to treat patients by the insertion of acupuncture needles or through stimulation techniques
