Transportation information: Travel expenses paid by employer, Valid driver’s licence, and Willing to travel for extended periods
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction, and demonstrate professionalism in customer service interactions, maintaining a courteous and respectful attitude at all times
- The candidates should be able to coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency within the team, and drive lighter, special purpose trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic regulations and company policies
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods with care, ensuring the proper handling of cargo to prevent damage, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks proficiently to transport goods and materials to designated locations, and oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- The candidates should be able to pay and receive payments for goods accurately and maintain proper documentation of transactions, perform brake adjustments as needed to ensure the vehicle’s optimal performance and safety, and perform emergency roadside repairs competently to address any issues that may arise during transport
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections meticulously and oversee all aspects of the vehicle to identify and address any maintenance needs promptly, perform preventive maintenance tasks on the vehicle regularly to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliability, and receive and relay information to central dispatch efficiently to facilitate smooth operations and timely deliveries
- The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately to maintain accurate records, and tarp cargo securely to ensure the safety and security of the cargo throughout the transportation process
