Salary: $27.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports
Credentials: AZ class license

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in tasks and assignments

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate professionalism in customer service and coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
  • The candidates should be able to load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, and oversee the condition of the vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments, pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and receive/relay information to central dispatch
  • The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance on vehicles
