Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Documentation knowledge: Accident or incident reports, Bill of lading, Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, and Trip reports
Credentials: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in their tasks and be prepared for physically demanding tasks as required by the role
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads safely and efficiently and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in their tasks
- The candidates should be capable of managing a large workload effectively and be prepared for physically demanding tasks as required by the role

- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns with professionalism in customer service and arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
- The candidates should be able to load and unload goods and obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
- The candidates should be able to operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs, as well as pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
